Graphite electrodes are made of petroleum-based, needle-like, coal pitches and
are used in electric rock-thermic, steel furnaces, also in ferroalloy, iron
foundries for smelting various alloys, cast iron, steel, etc.
Graphite electrodes are available as bundled with the nipples and separately. At
the request nipples can be manufactured with separate technology that provides
proper physical and chemical parameters. Nipple is screwed into the electrode to extend it and can be of cylindrical or conical shape.
Different brands of graphite electrodes are manufactured (RP, IP, HP UHP etc), their diameters ranging from 75 to 600 mm, length from 1000 to 2400 mm. The most important indicators of quality of electrodes are high flexural strength, low resistivity.
We offer graphite electrodes RP.
