Perlite or crushed perlite rock.
Obtained by processing of perlite - acidic aluminosilicate rock of
volcanic origin.
Perlite of certain grain composition serves as flux to
bind (coagulate) slag on the surface of molten iron (steel) in the
production of thin-walled castings.
It is a natural, pure mineral product, chemically neutral and safe
for health.
Grain composition: 0.3 to 6.0 mm
SiO2 - 72-74%
Al2O3 - 11-14%
Color from white to dark gray.
